Just bumping to check if there's any updates on the matter. I'd have just written it off as vaporware by now if it wasn't for the linux question in the FAQ of TPA's own site.
If it came down to the wire I'd probably chip in, but I really don't care about this table in the slightest and it'd feel strange to pay more than the price of the table just so it can be in TPA.
If people wanted Fireball they should have voted for Fireball and not voted for Paragon or Xenon, assuming that Fireball was definitely coming.
I remember something similar happening with another poll, possibly the Bally or Stern poll where a clear favourite was overlooked because it was always...
What's really weird is how when, in testing they didn't notice the tokens accumulating past four.
Like if that was the original intention (in order to actually make any money from it) you'd assume it'd be a high priority check to make sure it's working properly, considering Halloween has passed...
Alright, having played it it's actually pretty good.
The main screen is absolutely shocking though, like how could you get something that looks so unprofessional? Big blocky text boxes and the whole clicking around to work out which button to press to actually play the game.
It's a design...
I still don't see how "Ghostbusters isn't aimed at us so we shouldn't complain", it's by the same guys and it's a pinball game and they surely don't want to annoy hardcore pinball fans by pretending they don't exist.
The pricing model is a joke, but makes me think that they can't sell a game...
Bizarrely I ended up enjoying LCA after a while playing it, the biggest problem I had was it felt far too random, but that's because I was comparing it to the flow of other tables that feed directly to the flippers.
Once you're aware that nothing is safe and it's all about nudging and reaction...
On the plus side, we own all the tables we currently have so it's not like they can turn around and take the ability to play them.
So I don't really see what the problem is here, I've already bought the Season 4 pass so it's not like they'd change the core game anytime soon, and even then it'd...
On one hand I'm pretty sure that all WWE videogames are tied up with 2K considering they also did that WWE Trading Card game, which shows they're not just tied down to the wrestling game thing.
On the other hand, I'm pretty sure the WWE wouldn't mind allowing a redesign of the table art with...
It's getting harder and harder to think of tables that we haven't got these days, I keep looking through my tables collection, seeing something like High Roller Casino and going "hang on a second, I forgot you existed"
At least it's a fairly fun hard game unlike ST:TNG or the Twilight Zone.
Those were unforgivable for the first 50 or so games I had, and if I had to keep buying credits every time I'd have given up after the first three gos.
Apologies, I'm not sure if it's ok to link to it here. I was under the assumption that when it's up on that certain place that the newsletter is coming ASAP, but there seems to be a few more images being hosted so it's probably delaying the newsletter a little.
But the picture is of the...
I was just checking out the Kickstarter again to work out when it was promised and was wondering why you guys were complaining when it said December.
Then I realised it was December 2013.
No wonder everyone is fairly mad at what they're doing.
Of all the tables to reskin, Haunted House?
This probably explains why there were so many Gottlieb Premier's at the end of the last season too.
Still, on the plus side I won't feel bad about it not being integrated into TPA (even though I'll probably still buy it because I'm a sucker for...
Tbh it sounds more like Farsight will have a plan of what tables they want but naturally can't buy the tables until they've shifted some on, so don't want to promise any tables because a) there could be some huge problems with emulating it and b) they don't want to drive up the prices of those...
Are we even sure it's a fake pledge? Because with us well over the limit and no clear stretch goal in sight, you can understand why some people might be thinking "why exactly should I part $100 for this instead of $50 when it's already funded?"
I'll admit I reduced my pledge with the T2...
No matter how it falls, I don't think there'll be another Kickstarter again.
TAF was the most expensive one so far and easily the most popular pinball table of all time, if that barely crossed the line then anything else has absolutely NO chance.
