Considering only about 1 shot in 6 makes it up either left or right ramp (as opposed to the middle one, which is near impossible to miss) that makes it one of the biggest causes of a drain for me. If I actually try to go actively for Polly, I'm almost sure to lose.
The thing is, when I don't...
Check out Asylum's output, they keep making movies like this. Usually they are either an obvious cheap knock-off of a big blockbuster, or an intentional "so-bad-it's-good" movie (which sort of ruins the point, though) about sharks:

I've been trying to play for combined lost mine and showdown multiballs, and it's really backfiring for me. The quickdraw targets are easy to hit, but I find that they result in drains too often, especilly the one on the left. Starting gold mine is pretty simple though, almost too easy, but at...
The redundancies in FarSight's instructions seem to be due to the fact that they want the instructions to work as a reference manual, where you can look up any single part and get all the details they need, which I think is admirable.
That's a problem to anyone who wants to read through all the...
While doedje makes some fair points, I don't think it applies in this case.
If a bug is only relevant under certain conditions, or not critical for the use of the product, then other issues will unfortunately take priority.
But at this point we are talking about a bug that pretty much results in...
Yeah, the points that show up when you make a shot is a great form of feedback, that TPA would also benefit from (although it would be difficult/impossible to implement properly due to emulation)
According to this page ( http://www.pinballarcadeplayers.com/content/white-water ), the goal is "Collect a Disaster Drop Reward"
I guess that just means shooting Disaster Drop three times to spot a hazard, or 6 to advance raft. Should be one of the simplest goals ever. I personally never shoot...
Wow.... Now i see what you guys mean!
Apart from some annoying "digital" issues with flipper accuracy (I'm gonna make another post about that one of the next days, it happens on multiple tables, at least on PS3), I have enjoyed this table a lot, now that I finally decided to buy it on PS3...
I somehow managed to avoid the bug most of the time. I'm not sure what I did, but through a mix of various settings, it now only stays in plunger cam for a short while before returning to regular camera.
The result is I can now play Borg multiball seriously, meaning I now get scores that could...
Holy crap... I finally bought this table on PS3, remember seeing this thread a few times. I was pretty shocked to see that this bug still exists. And not only does it happen a lot, it happens almost constantly, whenever ANY multiball is started! The game is practically unplayable, competitive...
Are you serious? I've seen TONS of drains no one could have avoided. I've had the ball drain several times by it jumping OVER the flipper, during otherwise controlled play.
Even the top players will tell you there are always situations where nothing could be done. That's pinball.
edit: Or are...
Did FarSight say that they had something special planned for the end of the year?
Sure, Fish Tales is a great table (providing they didn't include the lightning flippers!), but so's AFM, WH2O, WW, and really, the majority of tables they have put out this year . Fish Tales is probably the single...
I bought it even if I'm never going to play them.
Or, I would play them, but it's another "Steam only" deal. It's really sad that Humble Bundle has gone so far from their initial concept of DRM free games, but I still like to support pinball games in general, even if I'm not much for supporting...
I just shoot for the saucers when they are lit, otherwise I keep going for the middle drop targets. They tend to bounce the ball to the left, causing it to hit a lot os juicy stuff up there (as well as lighting the bumpers), and hit the "shelf" in the top left side on its way down, ensuring a...
