I just want to combat the negativity by saying that most people who are getting the pack (either by choice or by season pack) will not be coming in here saying "I'm buying that" so it'll give the illusion that nobody wants them. I think the pack will do just as well as any other (well, not as good, but still there abouts) and lets not forget that plenty of people created accounts to vote for F2K and didn't fancy frequenting the forums, so they won't be coming back out of the blue to post in a post about tables.

I'll probably get a load of playtime out of both tables, and whilst it's good on paper to put two bigger name tables together... wouldn't that mean that there'd be no point in Seasons 3+4 if all the big names were taken?

I'll go on record by saying, "I'm buying pack 16." Quite looking forward to Goin' Nuts, actually! ;)

I'm a pinball newbie, but it seems to me that there are more than enough 'big name' tables to to last for years without having to include something like goin'nuts. I find it quite difficult to rationalize that a table like Medieval Madness for example is equivalent in price to Goin Nuts. ;)

I gladly pay more for premium tables, but I don't think I'd pay a dollar for something I only play once or twice. For example, the Dr. Dude pack - I've haven't played a single complete game of Firepower, but dozens of DD.

Like some others, I would prefer if the table packs were segregated into eras, perhaps on different pricing tiers. Otherwise, it just looks like we're subsidizing the creation of old, obscure tables that only a minority truly play and enjoy.

I love firepower. Try it out, maybe it will grow on you. Sometimes I have a bad impression of a table in the beginning but after a few more plays I start to like it. (Funny, I feel the same way about Rob Zombie's music!)

Firepower is in my top ten and Dr Dude is in my bottom 3. That's why the variety is so important. No one is expected to love every pack, but if you love pinball then there is probably enough in any pack to justify a purchase. That's how I look at it. I can't image any pin I wouldn't play at least a dozen times. It usually takes me at least that long to gather an opinion.
But if you are familiar with both pins in real life and just hate the theme, art, and gameplay, then I can see not buying it.

I'm looking forward to both these tables, because I love pinball and don't know either of them. For the price of a couple of beers, I can play them for free forever, what's not to like?

However my opinion may be clouded by the fact that I'm in the middle of a typhoon and half way through drinking this bottle:

Aaaaalright I finally gave Firepower more than 5 minutes. I managed to get multi-ball yay!
It's not so bad I guess. I did turn the volume way down however.

There are tables that I will not play ever again and those are Big Shot, Genie, Gorgar, Central Park. I love table from the 80's on and mostly tables that have some sort of multiball. Granted the other table in those packs I play alot. So I'd say I got my money's worth even though I didn't want those tables in the first place.

Like Kolchak, Firepower is one of my favorites. Not top 10 necessarily but Dr Dude I cannot find the fascination for table. I've tried and tried and it's down on the bottom of my list as well along with Cirqus Voltaire and the others I've mentioned above. Sad thing is I don't think you can purchase individual tables on any platform. I'm not sure as I only play on the PS3 and those are only in packs and the pro tables are not even worth it.

Those screenshots are southeast Asia, but your location is listed as London.

Better make sure your device is fully charged for when the power goes out. I recommend getting whirlwind (pack 15) if you don't have it already. It would be the perfect table to play while the store comes in.

Big shot is an awesome table with great replay value. Don't knock the EMs.

I love the sound on Firepower! At last year's Pacific Pinball Exposition there was a Firepower that had a 12" subwoofer hooked up to it. Man, that thing was awesome!

Was that the one with all the little lit models around it? You'll probably see that at CAX today.

I don't remember models but they might have been there. I do remember that it was located on the far right end of a line of tables. I hope it's at CAX but you mentioned that it's so loud there so I probably won't get to really appreciate the sound. Going there this afternoon.

Last year, there was a Firpower that was placed in an area that, for some reason, you could hear subwoofer connected to it really well. It's not there this year. :(

So which table gets the Pro mode? Goin' Nuts or Flight 2000? Someone said there was a PRO option on the Android Beta of Goin' Nuts, but it crashed the application. Neither table has a DMD display, sooooo...

Maybe I'm just weird like that, but I would totally buy a PRO mode for Goin' Nuts! Set multiball count, adjust the timer, etc...
