Agreed, it's far from the world's worst table, or the best. I think the whole poker thing (that, unless I'm missing something, seems to have nothing to do with the overall theme) actually saves it.

It doesn't matter much though.

If Farsight is serious about at least 2 more seasons then there's going to be "filler" months, but why not fill those months with tables people want. Would have been a great time to do Ace High and Sorcerer, or an unlicensed Stern like High Roller Casino, anything but another Premier game. They're afraid of doing simpler EM and early SS games, yet Flight 2000 outsold Cue Ball Wizard, and Flight 2000 has no where near the rabid fans of say, Xenon or Eight Ball Deluxe. Fathom, I could go on, people request these games all the time. Have there been ANY requests for Lights Camera Action?

The Gottlieb license should be reserved for EM's only. Everyone loves Big Shot and most people at least like Genie. Maybe do an EM two pack? Or how about packing in an EM with each table next season? How cool would that be.

I wonder what the description will be. Because you asked for it, another Premier game! This one set the record for lowest print run of 1,200 units! I mean what can they possibly say. It's got a really tedius backbox game that get's old REALLY fast, this one is a stinker in my book. Bad art too. If you're going to do another Premier do a "so bad it's good" one like Genesis.

Central Park is a curiosity. It's interesting, you have to admit that.

I would pay 5$ for say, a 4-pack of games like Central Park. Or 5$ for two really good EM's, like Big Shot or some of the games you see used in Pinburgh tournaments.

At least the artwork in Central Park is attractive, the gameplay original and it's historic. There are things to like about really quirky EM's like that, because they are some times one of a kind, often experimental other times pieces of 'Americana' and other times just, awesome, even if impossible.

Yet you can't say one of those things about a game like LCA. It's bottom of the barrel for it's time and era, the Premier games brought the entire Gottlieb name into the dirt, to where everyone just assumes "Gottlieb's are ****" when in reality their EM's are second to none. It's a real shame.

Lights Camera Action is a good chance to show off their new lighting tricks. The table wouldn't be the same without it going RED. I think this is why it was picked.

A lot of people here are pretty sure Dracula will be out this season. I am just wondering if Farsight have given any hints to this here or on facebook? Would be great if it comes, but I have yet to find any info on this, but then again there is a lot of posts and threads I have missed (unfortunately) lately

- It's been getting more and more highly requested than ever. Whenever someone asks the rep about it, he usually says it "has a real good shot" or "That's one that's high on our list".

- Someone asked about the possibility of a few tables this season, including "Dracula". The Rep shot all of them down, but said "Dracula" had a "Real good shot".

- During the last Twitch Feed, the 2 Reps took questions on "Dracula", including from myself. Now, whenever someone asks about the possibility of a certain table during these feeds, the Reps usually go through the motions and say "Maybe", "Who knows?", "We'll see", Yadda yadda yadda. However, anytime someone asked about "Dracula", they were almost always silent or wouldn't even respond. I asked them if "Dracula" would require a Kickstarter? (since some here keep saying that it would) The response I got was NOTHING. They never answered the question. Now, why would they not answer that? I also told them "Thanks in advance for 'Dracula' this season, because there's no way you can ignore all these endless requests for it". They responded with "How presuming of you", and smiled like a baby who just loaded their diaper. lol

It's just the little things like this that kinda almost tell you that we're getting it this season. In fact, I would literally be shocked and stunned if we didn't.

How sick would a Joker Poker + Wizard! or Royal Flush 2 pack been?

Or if Farsight needs a filler month that bad, why not Sorcerer + Ace High 2 pack, Xenon or Eight Ball single.... there's many ways to "fill" a month without pissing everyone off.

It's not just Pinball Arcade fans either. Actually I would bet the Facebook/mainstream are even more rabidly against Premier games.

Not going to be a good month so just recommend everyone focus on swimming, fun in the sun, and vollyball for June and just forget pinball arcade exists until July lol.

I have to say that I would much rather have "Lights, Camera, Action!" or any other late 90s Gottlieb/Premier table than any of the stuff you just listed, but there's nothing wrong with different pinball tastes. To each their own.

As for the FB crowd being "rabidly against" Premier titles, that would be false, at least over EM tables. I always see a lot of requests for "Freddy", "Rescue 911", "Street Fighter 2", "Stargate", "Super Mario Bros", etc.

Because Farsight has continually responded by saying that most EM's "aren't very popular", "are rarely requested", "don't sell", or/and "not worth the money to make". Now, that being said, I'm very confident we'll see "Sorcerer" and "Wizard" down the line, because those are about the only two that ever DO get asked for. (Not to mention Farsight has already made "Sorcerer") I'm also confident because they gave us a Poll for it, so at some point in time, YES, you'll see an EM. (However, due to popularity and sales, it'll probably happen few and far between)

I also remember you going off on a rant a while back about what a terrible mistake it was that they chose "Cue Ball Wizard" and how terrible of a game it was, and how nobody wanted it. The thing is, it was yet another very popular Gottlieb that got nearly 200 votes in the poll (Finished 3rd) and Farsight even said they liked it better than and thought it was more fun than "Eight Ball Deluxe". Heck, I remember a ton of people thanking them for choosing that table instead, myself included. Now, with that said, I've never played "Lights, Camera, Action!". In fact, I think it looks atrocious, but who am I to argue with over 100 fans that reside here?

You see, not every table should be an EM table, just because you love them so. They asked up for a Top 10 in each company/table type for a reason. I'm very sure, within due time, you'll get your EM tables, but until then, at least respect Farsight for trying to give the fans what they want. At the end of the day, you're not obligated to buy it, so don't. Me? I'll buy whatever they dish out, EM after EM included, cause it helps keep them open and I love pinball. Until then, Farsight will continue to release what will sell and what is popular.

I'd say you'd be in the minority. I think this Season, and I'd even say most would agree, has been on par with Season 1.

We're getting a ton of very popular, very much requested tables. I haven't seen too many complaints.

It has certainly been better than Season 2.

What is it with a lot of you hating Gottlieb/Premier tables, Lights, Camera, Action is a great table, not perfect but great. I do wish they would have gone with Rescue 911 for this month, but I bet that Helicopter toy will drive them crazy. I'm also really looking forward to Freddy, Nightmare on Elm Street, Stargate, Surf N Safari, Bone Busters, and I know their are a few more Gottlieb tables I would love to see. I do admit I would have also loved to see Safe Cracker come out this month but it didn't happen, so I hope it comes out in early Season 4, that is all I have to say about that.

130 people voted for Wizard.
And although that has a potential licensing quirk due to the backglass, 113 people voted for Spirit of 76 which has no licensing quirk at all.

(Sorcerer isn't an EM BTW, it's a SS made roughly around the same time as "Space Shuttle".)

The problem with both the Gottlieb and the EM poll is it really wasn't a true head-to-head with everything. In both poll threads there's some moaning along the lines of "none are great". It possibly does mean that Farsight will throw an EM bone eventually, because there are some pretty vocal fans that counter-argue the moaners. (Particularly in the EM poll thread I'd say, but there are a few Gottlieb defenders too).

Until then, Farsight will continue to release what will sell and what is popular.

My "gut impression" is that this is mostly the DMD or late-alphanumeric Williams / Bally machines that sell, to be honest. The Facebook reaction on this one when confirmed I think will be interesting. Not all Premiers are hated, but the ones you mentioned that aren't are licensed DMDs, not late 80s Gottlieb.

If anyone's starting to cross the line it's you. I'm not on an "anti Gottlieb rant". First of all, I've said time and time again there is a huge difference between Gottlieb and Premier. I love true Gotliebs like Big Shot, Genie, Black Hole, and Haunted House.

Street Fighter 2 is one of the most notoriously awful tables in all of pinball. 100 votes is sad considering what the other polls were doing. The Premier poll had the worst turnout of all the polls.

Second, I am over it. You're the one that needs to chill out. Look at my post history, I've posted 2 or 3 times max about my feelings, and I'm not the first person, many are dissapointed. I didn't make the "Gottlieb hate thread" or whatever, just back off man.

And 3rd calling Eight Ball Deluxe trash, when it's the second highest selling pinball ever with a ton of fans and a tournament favorite 34 years later, ok man. Whatever you say. Eight Ball is garbage and LCA is a master piece lol whatever makes you happy bro.
