He seems exactly like that. In the most recent video they posted, they showed off a Flash Gordon machine that had to have some major restoration done to it. It looks like it would be fantastic to play! I've seen a number of tables on there that I think would work well with TPA.
I am in no way affiliated with them, but am a fan.
For those not aware, there is a company, TNT Amusements that sells and refurbishes video games and pinball games. The host seems like a pretty nice and knowledgable guy, and has a genuine appreciate for these things. I just watched the newest...
Agreed. I've never figured out why they only seem to love gimmicky tables from the 80s onward. So many older tables had unique layouts and great challenges. I just watched a video from TNT amusements on Youtube. showing off a Phoenix table. That's one I would definitely like to see.
You and me both. I've skipped the last 3 tables they've put out. I'm sure they are loved by a lot of players, but to me they are just more looping gimmicky tables. There are so many great tables from the 70s and 80s that seem to be completely ignored.
It looks like there are some decent cocktail tables out there. I only found them because I was trying to track down another style I had seen once a long time ago. I'd love to see one make it to TPA. Maybe they can do a nice little 2 pack of some more obscure tables.
I think that's part of what I find so appealing about this table. It's definitely one of my favorites. It's amazing how different our tastes are as users. I've seen several listed as favorites on here I wouldn't buy because the preview I played did nothing to interest me at all. I'm sure tables...
This issue was brought up on Facebook but never addressed.
The front cabinet art for the table is messed up. It looks like the graphics are correct but not placed where they should be on the iOS version.
I had posted this on Facebook some time ago. It was acknowledged and then seemingly forgotten.
The way tables like Big Shot were designed, if you launch a ball that hits absolutely nothing and drains, the machine is supposed to place it back by the plunger without the loss of the ball being...
This is one of those issues that has me reluctant to buy new tables. It seems like it should be an easy fix, and farsight is aware of it, but it's never been addressed. I know other issues like that also. The answer used to be that the developers were working hard on the new tables. With release...
When I play my old tables I always start off with the older tables like Big Shot, Space Shuttle, etc. There is a strange comfort there.
I watched a vid on Fireball and I have played it IRL. Outside of the spinning disc there's really nothing spectacular in the gameplay to me. That's part of...
I barely tiptoe in the forums, so I'm not worried about it. Text doesn't convey humor or sarcasm, so hopefully people in general remember that.
I don't know if it's been done, but it would be interesting to gauge how many users have played these machines IRL. I was an arcade rat in the 70s and...
It does look like Xenon will win, but that allows me to vote for another machine I think is outstanding. In this case it was Joker Poker. I have seen a few of these machines off and on over the years, and had forgotten about them. As soon as I read Xenon, I heard "My name is Xenon" in my head...
It's not *technically* a bug, but someone REALLY needs to adjust the plunger on this game. It's ridiculous. Compare it to any of the others. Just a fraction of a difference seems to make the ball launch exponentially harder.Pulling back just a tiny bit still shoots it to the last hole. Maddening!
It's so nice to be able to finally get in and vote and check out some polls and some conversation!
I haven't read through any threads yet, and I may be in the minority when it comes to certain thoughts about how pinball is represented on this app.
I play on my iPad. I was thrilled early on...
